For anyone interested in ticking off all the Hills of certain criteria in various areas, say the Lakes, Wales, Scotland etc, then i recommend you click on the link below and get yourself signed up to the Hill Bagging Site. This enables you to keep a log and date of all the hills/mountains you have climbed and see where you are against other people in the Country. It also offers a wealth of other information as well.
Don't forget anyone can organise a Boots 'n Beers walk. If you are a little nervous then plenty of members can help. We have none booked at present so all suggestions welcome. These are usually but not specifically carried out on Wednesday near the end of the month.
The hut secretary has asked that guests leave him a nice cold beer in the fridge once all the obligatory cleaning before you leave has been carried out. Also can people bring their own kindling/paper and try to replace any wood used. Can visitors make sure they have signed in the Blue signing in folder and read all the information regarding the hut if they are not familiar with the arrival/departure procedures.
Join us for our upcoming events and workshops and meet other outdoor enthusiasts. From Hill Walking clinics and gear demos to bring and buy sales , our events are designed to bring the Mountaineering community together. Most people come for a beer and a curry.
