A successful Away Dinner at Windermere was enjoyed by over 40 members and guests. Walks tackled during the weekend included the Fairfield Horseshoe and Thornthwaite Crag to lighter walks near the hotel such as Brant Fell and Orrest Head- which first inspired a certain Mr Wainwright's love of the Lake District and the rest we can say is history.
